90th. Birthday

My parents arrived Friday morning to spend the weekend. It's my fathers 90th. birthday so we had a party last night. Had a bunch of friends in and he really enjoyed it all. My mom said it was the best party he's ever had. He was tickled pink, I have to say. Some pictures him and my mother.

They left early this morning and my mother will have a few friends in tomorrow for another little do for him.

The weather has been holding pretty good. A few pictures taken this past week.

White Admiral

Stanley and Freya

I'm feeling very tired this morning. I don't know if it's because I might be a wee bit hungover or because I've been up since 3:30 am. Probably a bit of both, lol. Hoping for a good long nap later today.

I can't believe your father is 90! He looks remarkably well for his age.

I've never seen a white admiral. He is beautiful. Don't think the venture into my area.

Could it be living way up north in Newfoundland has kept your parents so young and healthy?

Best wishes to your Dad, what's his secret for such youthfulness? Looks like they both enjoyed themselves*!*

Thanks for all the kind birthday wishes for my father.

lol, Anonymous, I expect living here has something to do with it.

Stanley and Freya also look like they've been up all night, clinging onto the railings. Your parents look fabulous for their age. Happy Birthday to your father.

BTW - finally organised and rebuilt the blog, so from now on it's wessexreiver.blogspot.com

Hope all is well with you. Andrew
