Update,

Update....Himself has been released from hospital. The test he's had done showed three blockages in three very small arteries. Medication should take care of it. He's been very lucky really as it could have been much worse. When he was having the heart attack he got me to get him an aspirin and was told later that by doing this he saved his own life. Such a simple thing but I thought it was worth passing on. And, by chewing it up, it gets into the blood stream faster. He seems to be doing well now that he's home and hopefully will gain more strength as the days go on.

Well, it's been a long time but it's happened again. Yesterday morning I went outside to fill some of the bird feeders. I was dressed in cap, short winter jacket, pajama bottoms and winter boots. It was bitterly cold. I reach up high to one of the feeders when at that moment my pants dropped down to my ankles. Of course there just had to be a car passing at the time. There I was...naked to the world...sigh!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is a Gold Finch. There are lots of them around these days.

We've had some very cold nights lately. -16C in the early morning. Jack Frost has been here a few times as you can tell by these windows.

This is a silly little shot but there was something about it that appealed to me.

So, all seems well here at the moment. I'm off to get breakfast.

so glad to hear things are looking up.
as far as the 'free show' goes... just pass it off as that you made somebody's day eventful :0)
take care and keep warm

So happy to hear that Himself is home and doing well! Thanks for sharing the aspirin story, it is a good reminder for us all to be prepared. I like the shot of the moon with the trees, very still and peaceful.

Yay! I'm so glad to hear that Himself is back home and doing well. How fortunate that he knew about aspirin! I didn't know, but I certainly will remember this, thank you for sharing it, OC.

I love the photo of the moon and the trees, it's magical. I love the photos of the windows, too.

I definitely agree with Tricia...better elastic, lol!

I'm so glad to hear your partner is on the mend. My late father used to have to take aspirin daily for a similar condition. It's making me want to go out right now and get some to have on hand, even though I've no use for it. But then you just don't know that Life is going to throw at you.

OC! I had no idea you were a flasher. Good for you. Keeps the neighbours on their toes. LOL!

Take care and keep warm.

Never mind about the dropped pyjama, OC! I am sure it made the day for the driver of the passing car. ;-)

So pleased 'himself' is back home and improving, I hope he goes from strength to strength now.

I love that last but one photo, lighted windows always look so cosy and welcoming. It does sound cold there, it has turned much colder here in the last few days but at least we have some sun after all the mild, dull days.

The PJ incident must have been embarrassing but I have to admit it has made my day : ) and I know you have a great sense of humour and wouldn't have told us if you hadn't seen the funny side yourself : )

Just catching up on blogs so sad to hear, but very good to learn that Himself's heart attack isn't more serious..... you didn't say though whether it happened before or after the PJ incident :-)

The vikings are a hardy breed

Ha ha Andrew, the heart attack was after the PJ incident. Do you suppose that's what did it, lol.
