Once again I've accidentally turned his white underwear pink...oh dear, oh dear!   What ever will he say.   Well, the weather has been wonderful!  Some days have been almost like summer.  There's a strong wind blowing today so the laundry is all out on the line and drying very fast.

Last week I spent the better part of a morning building a Bug Hotel.  I'm very pleased with it but I still have places to fill in.

Tuesday after supper there was a grouse in the garden.  They blend in so well with their surroundings.  Such lovely birds.

I give up.  I am so fed up with Blogger.  I can't seem to get below this picture to continue to write.
Sorry folks!  And, I can't move the picture to the centre of the page, only left or right.  It's enough to make a person give it all up.

I don't know how you managed to spot that bird, the camouflage is so good.

Oh dear pink underwear again? What will he say? Tell him that it is trendy...

I live in an area officially classed as in drought and, since that ruling, it hasn't stopped raining...

Firstly... pink underwear is very 'in' I'm told... at least tell himself that :D

Sorry about your blogger problems.

Depending on which version you're using, if you click on the picture once you've uploaded it, you will get a series of boxes that come up and then you can choose to align it as you wish?

pm me if this doesn't work?

Tricia, Blogger keeps making changes and I'm just about fed up. I already tried what you said about choosing to align the picture but it would only put it either left or right. When I would click on "centre", it wouldn't work. Then I couldn't get down below the photo to continue writing no matter what I did. Can I just say that I'm totally PISSED OFF!!!!!

Toffee Apple, hahaha trendy pink underwear. The grouse certainly do blend in with their surroundings. Sorry to hear about all the rain you're having.

Well now I'm intrigued with that bug hotel ... you WANT bugs???? Are you doing a study??? Or is it for those special kind of bees?

The grouse is beautiful!
We had one visit several winters ago and it was so amazing to watch.
I know what you mean about blogger for they changed the format for posting a few days ago and I was baffled, too and upset.
Am still not sure how I am making it work! Good luck with presenting him with the pink underwear!

Cicero, the bug hotel provides homes for a variety of bugs, solitary bees, lacewings, etc. That's why I have a variety of materials in it. If all goes well it will give them a place to hibernate through the winter.

Thanks to everyone for letting me know that I'm not alone with frustration over the new blogger. No doubt I'll get it straightened out.

Your bug hotel looks amazing! I'd love to make something similar, as it would probably end up being a hotel for bugs, lizards, and snakes, which would be very cool.

Oh my Janine, I would be so envious of your snakes and lizards.
