Rose Breasted Grosbeak

Thanks to the help of some friends I now know that the bird in the last blog is a Rose Breasted Grosbeak. It's rare to find here and must have wandered outside it's normal range. Thanks everyone for the help.

I just came from another blog featuring RBG's. The males are wonderful singers in the spring.

Tricia, yes, it's always exciting to see something new.
Marnie, I'm wondering now if I'll ever see another one in the spring. Hopefully a male. Would love to hear him sing.

Love the little fairy doors you made. Have you heard or seen any more from your visiting bears - I hope they have moved on under their own steam and not by a cage.

Have a lovely time in Ontario, have you packed your camera*!*

Bimbimbie, we found out that two of the bears have been captured and relocated. There hasn't been any sign of more so hopefully that will be the end of it for this season. I'll be off to St. John's to stay at my daughters for about two and a half weeks. She's the one going to Ontario, lol.
