Garden visitors

Just a quick post today. I've been so busy this past few days, both inside and out. I'm taking a break right now so thought I'd put up a few pictures I took today of.......

The First Robin in the Garden this Spring. I don't often see them in my garden so I had to take the opportunity to get a photo.

I hadn't seen a squirrel for a long time, at least not up close. I do hear them over in the woods around me though. So this little cutie was in the tree right by the deck.

And, right beside him was a Chick a Dee breaking open a sunflower seed.

I wonder what kind of squirrels you have there. They are very different looking from ours.

We got robins early this spring. They were here in early March this year.

We have the little red squirrels busily eating the sunflower seeds along with chipmunks at our bird feeders. Your little red is very sweet looking! Love the robins!

It's strange seeing a Robin that doesn't look like our Robin and what an extent of red on its body too!

Nice to see squirrels on your blog again OC ;)

Looks like spring is really springing out your way.

We woke to a snow, blowing snow this morning that totally covered the front lawn ... but already it is almost all gone.

We've had robins around the area but not in our yard this year yet. Squirrel is back too, cleaning up on any seed he can.

Nice to see a North American robin. The English ones are so tiny by comparison, but just as cheeky!c
