Hee hee, quite a hairdo indeed, I wonder could it be a youngster?
I've just been catching up with your last few lovely posts which I missed, :( I loved all your birds, insects and flowers, how lucky you are to see the Swallowtail, such a beautiful butterfly! We occassionaly see Humming Bird Hawk Moths although not for some time, they are lovely creatures. Your Poppies looked wonderful, mine never last long either but they are so bright and cheerful when they are here.
Kind of a punk hairdo going on there. He would be just the bad boy to chew up a feeder;) I don't begrudge them the food but I hate to keep replacing feeders. Marnie
THANKS for popping into my blog and for your kind comments. I am most interested to hear more about your published children's book. Do tell more.... Your photos are amazing btw.

Shy Songbird, I too was thinking that he might be a young one. He's very cute.
Now that is different - a squirrel with attitude who wants to stand out in a crowd. Wonder who the hairdresser is....
Well, having made the hole there lets the squirrels have a platform for perching whilst reaching in for the goodies!
