Tuesday

It's been another lovely day. We had planned on going to Gander tomorrow for shopping but realized it was Remembrance Day, a holiday so I don't know if much will be opened. We've now decided to go on Thursday.

Today we got the lawn mower put away for the winter. I cut back some more of the perennials and raked up leaves for the compost. I don't say I'll get much more done now but am satisfied with how things have gone so far. At one point I was starting to panic a bit thinking I wouldn't get much done but now I can sit back and relax.

The cats are just about back to normal re: the cold they had. Himself is also looking much better.

A few pictures taken of the sky this morning.

My Christmas Cactus is now blooming.

Glad you're done and dusted and ready for winter; also that all are now recovered :)

Your sky shots are wonderful - so colourful; particularly like the first one with the glimpse of the moon through the branches.

I know it feels good to put everything to bed and know you left no strings untied!..Here we are in the midst of getting the remains of Ida. It has been steady pouring rain for almost 24 hrs and its not letting up! The Veterans day parade was cancelled due to the rain....Love your sky photos, clouds make the sky more interesting for sure---

The trees are beautiful silhouetted against the sky.

My Christmas cactus has just started to bloom. Every year it seems to bloom earlier.

I've been behind in my readings and have only just now caught up on your last SIX blog entries. Sounds like you've had the time of it with your sickos. Glad to hear they are on the mend. We had 15 cm of snow a couple of weeks ago that was gone in about two days. We currently have just the veriest skiff of snow out there. Mingus had a blast in that 15 cm dump though ... his first real experience with snow and he went wild. Too fun.
