Blue Skies, Nothing but Blue Skies...Grinning!

I expect this week will be as busy as last week. This morning I've been up in the little "cabin" trying to get things sorted out. I banged up a couple of rough shelves then started taking things out of bags and boxes. Trying to get a lot of stuff off the floor. I also put stuff in those big plastic Rubbermaid boxes and can't get the lids to snap shut. You'd think with the cost of them I wouldn't have a problem and they aren't over filled. When himself came back from his walk I got him to have a go at it but no luck. He suggests that I tie a rope around them, lol. It's getting hot here now so have given up that for today and will start again tomorrow.

Still lots of weeding to do. It seems I get an area done, then turn around and it's full of weeds again. No end to this gardening business. Oh well, I do love it.

Took some pictures of bits of the garden. Still not much in bloom as yet but in another week or two there should be tons of colour.

Now if you should go out to work in the garden don't be alarmed to find me already there in meditation. Such a peaceful serene garden you have.

I agree, a very lovely garden in deed ... even if the blooms aren't all blooming yet!

Your garden looks like it has glades that you come across by accident, it's beautiful!

Really pleased for you getting some decent weather at last. Only wish I could say the same for us. :o(

I linked to you from a comment you left Jo at Moodscape.
I'm from California and we are covered in fire and smoke here, so your blog is a breath of fresh air. The photos are beautiful and the music has some of my favorite songs.
Have bookmarked your blog. It's a keeper.

You have a magical garden. Those purple flowers with the butterfly on them are very unusual indeed, never seen anything like them here. And is that hemlock growing next to the imaptiens potting table? It resembles our water hemlock.

Thanks for all your nice comments.
Janine, the purple flowers with the butterfly are Scottish Thistle. At least that's what my mom says, lol. The plant to the right of the table is Angelica.
