Sunday

More snow on the way today. Up to 25 cm. The body is aching from shoveling already although we haven't had that much up to now. Other than waiting for the next snowfall to start, there hasn't been much happening. So...a few pictures.

Bringing wood up the path.

Crow in Snow.

Siskins I believe.

Small cabin up behind the house where squirrel has set up residence.

Said squirrel.

What lovely shots. The squirrel looks almost red in some of them.

We are expecting snow today and tomorrow, but not as much as you have, I think.

Stay warm.

Our squirrels....oh wait...we don't have any. Your photos are fantastic! 25 cm eh? Their calling for 5 cm over here and you should see the panic. Its ludicrous. Glad to see you've got lots of wood to keep warm with!

I would have thought that squirrel to be famous by now, traveling the world, visiting the "bigger" squirrels over where Richard is (they all say that don't they) :-P
Representing the rare but exhibitionist Newfoundland red.

The birds and squirrel look really cold! And the squirrel has a whole cabin - would he like a lodger? on second thoughts though... perhaps not - I might have all my luggage nibbled!

We had a very light dusting of snow about an hour ago - but you wouldn't know it now - but...... there's more on its way.

Aww that squirrel, just love him. Don't laugh, it just snowed here. Approximately quarter of a centimeter, haha. I don't know how I'm going to cope with the shovelling...... (makes a change for us to get the better weather, England is at a standstill I believe) It's beautiful out there, blue sky and sunny - bloody cold mind, but still.

London is at a standstill. 3 inches of snow and the city's transportation system collapses. Seriously silly.

Here in the Midlands, we have about 3 inches of snow. I had no idea there were so many kids in the neighbourhood til we saw so many of them out sledding today. You see hoards of them going in and out of school, but otherwise you don't see them. Glad to see their spending their day off outside, enjoying themselves, instead of indoors watching the idiot box or gabbing endlessly on the cell phones every 5 year old seems to have *grumpy old bat alert!*

Fine walking weather on Beacon Hill, just up the road from us. When's the last time you made a snow angel? ;)

hi thanks for visiting and leaving a comment. You have wonderful photos, the squirrel is oblivious to the camera, concentrating on the food? i cannot imagine how cold it must be when the ocean actually freezes, and we complain over here when it hits 1 or 2 degrees!
Best wishes

I enjoyed your photos. We are expecting another couple inches tonight. Not enough to cause much trouble but it will freshen up the old snow and make it look nice for a while.

For once Oldcrow the warm UK is having a bit of a snowstorm... well that's what the papers tell us. It's just a normal winter in my book. Good to see you're putting him indoors to good use..!

lol, Andrew, him inside can be useful at times.

It's beginning to look like the same scenery outside my place right now too. Sigh. Apart from the squirrel of course. Bless.
