Tuesday!

Lovely sunny day but very cold. Looks like we are going through another cold snap. Nothing much happening, guess it's the winter doldrums. Except for the hawk here yesterday, there's been little excitement. So a few pictures of the regulars that I've taken this past couple of days.

Ok, ok, I know I put this little one on a lot but can't help myself, he's just soooo cute!

Love the chickens - is the second one down (black/gold) called a Black Rock over your way too? We used to have lots of them.

I know what you mean about the "nothing much happening" OC !

I do find it interesting, the differences between the "same" birds in our different countries, as with your Woodpeckers. Basically the same colouring but much different patterning.

And as for your Little Cutie - can never have too much of a good thing.
(and your ladies like to pose too)

I love your chickens. I hope we can be rural enough some day to keep a few.

I enjoyed your photos. I've wanted chickens forever but I'm afraid to try them. We have so many coyotes in this area.

Marnie, we have coyotes, foxes and hawks around. I guess we've just been lucky with the chickens.
